Christianity 2.1 billion (Catholicism: 1 billion; Protestantism: 775 million, Eastern Orthodoxy: 240 million) [The arithmetic is incorrect on this line. Could someone with access to the data correct it? There is, however, the possibility that the addtion of numbers from denominations outside these three branches (such as Latter-day Saints and the Assyrian Church of the East) will make the numbers add up correctly.]
