Magna Steyr is an Austrian automobile manufacturer.
Magna Steyr Fahrzeugtechnik of Oberwaltersdorf is a subsidiary of Canadian-based Magna International Inc.
Asssembles models of other companies on contractual basis, therefore Magna Steyr is not a brand.
Recently it absorbed Daimler-Chrysler's Eurostar vehicle assembly facility. The company's vehicle assembly capacitiy reached 200,000 vehicles a year. Previously, Magna Steyr used to assemble Mercedes-Benz M-class, Chrysler Voyager and Mercedes-Benz G-Class : 6833 cars produced in 2003
