Basse-Navarre (Nafarroa Beherea in Basque) is a former French province, part of the present day Pyrénées Atlantiques département. Along with Navarre of Spain, it was once ruled by the Kings of Navarre. Basse-Navarre is part of the traditional Basque Country.
