The London Borough of Hounslow occupies a sector of west London from Chiswick in the east to just south of London Heathrow Airport in the west. It includes the areas:
As of 2000, the various 1965 by the merger of the Middlesex urban districts of Brentford and Chiswick, Feltham and Heston and Isleworth.
The borough is home to the HQ of Glaxo Smith Klein, and Sky Televisions studio complex, both based in Osterley.
