Lleyn peninsula



         


The Lleyn peninsula also known by its Welsh name of the Llŷn extends from north west Wales. Part of Gwynedd, it is a stronghold of the Welsh language.

The peninsula was traditionally traversed by pilgrims to Bardsey Island, and is now a popular holiday destination.
