Italian Radicals or Radical Party (Radicali Italiani or Partito Radicale) is an Italian political group that describes itself as a liberal, liberist and libertarian political movement, affiliated to the Transnational Radical Party, founded on 14 july 2001. It has however to be remembered that this group is not related to the Italian Liberal Party, the House of Freedom or any other political movement that recalls in its name freedom, liberist economy or liberty tout-court.
The movement takes part in elections, the last years under the name Lista Bonino, named after its leader, Emma Bonino. The movement obviously mainly supports the political actions of the leader, whose career started in Partito Radicale, of which she was an even symbolic leader for many years. Between 1992 and 1999 it took part in elections as the Lista Pannella, founded by Marco Pannella. The members of the Lista Bonino in the European Parliament are members of the Alliance of Liberal and Democrats for Europe. See also Political parties of the world.
