List of pedophiles and pederasts
This is a list of people who have identified themselves as pederasts or pedophiles, that is, who have revealed a primary or exclusive attraction to adolescents or to prepubescent children, respectively. They often refer to themselfs as boylovers or girllovers.
- Lindsay Ashford, self-disclosed, non-practicing pedophile, creator of Puellula and The Human Face of Pedophilia.
- Frits Bernard, Dutch psychologist. Wrote many articles and book on the topic.
- Kevin Bishop, South African pedophile and NAMBLA activist.
- Edward Brongersma, Dutch politician and author; Jailed for affair with sixteen-year-old boy, he was instrumental in lowering age of consent to sixteen upon his release.
- Frans Gieles, Dutch academic, author of many papers on the topic.
- Dieter Gieseking, leader of the German pedophilia group "Krumme 13" for pedophile convicts.
- Tom O'Carroll, former leader of the Paedophile Information Exchange. Author of "Paedophilia: The Radical Case".
- David Riegel, Canadian pedophile, author of "Understanding Loved Boys and Boylovers".
- Robin Sharpe, Canadian pedophile, successfully challenged some elements of Canadian child pornography laws in the Canadian Supreme Court.
- David Thorstad, Co-founder of NAMBLA.
