Liam Dominic Byrne (born 1970) is a British Labour Party politician. He was elected to be the Member of Parliament for Birmingham Hodge Hill in a by-election in 2004.
He is founder of the Birmingham computer company EGS Group, a provider of e-commerce solutions to government, and is an associate research fellow at the Social Market Foundation. He holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School where he was a Fulbright Scholar, and has acted as an advisor to Tony Blair.
In the 2004 local elections he was an unsuccessful candidate in the Stechford and Yardley North ward of Birmingham, which lies partly within the Hodge Hill constituency.
