Lex (Fire Emblem)

Lex is a fictional axefighter from the Fire Emblem series, more specifically the Super Fammicom game Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu. He is a descendant of Axe Crusader Neir. He is the son of the avaricious Langobalt and younger brother of Danan. He hates his family, and his father Langobalt hates Sigurd's father Byron (Vylon). Langobalt assassinated Prince Kult on the way back from the war with the Kingdom of Isaac, and the holy axe Swanchika is an enemy-only holy weapon, along with the Falaflame, Gunguneel, and Torhammer. Lex is the first Fire Emblem character to be mounted on a horse and wield an axe, and the second one is his nephew Johan. His promoted form, Great Knight class, has been carried over to the Gameboy Advance game Fire Emblem: Seima no Kouseki, as an alternate promoted form for what the U.S. version of Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken calls Knight. He has a special skills called Ambush and Elite. He is also Holyn's rival for the heart of a sword demon named Ayra the Princess of Isaac. Several players of Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu pair Ayra with Lex, but most others pair Ayra with Holyn, which is a canon couple. His nephews Johan and Johalva are obsessed with Ayra's daughter Lakche. Lakche can only recruit only one of them, and after the recruit, she must kill the other one. Johan's class is the same as Lex's class, but Johalva fights on foot. Most players of Seisen no Keifu choose Johalva.
