Les Jennings, (August 16, 1904 - June 5, 1998) was an African American jazz musician. Never achieving popular status with his music due to his highly experimental methods, Jennings nonetheless gained a cult following in his that that continues to this day.
He was known for using items like rocks and rubber mallets on his brass instruments at times, for some unknown purpose, as well as one incident of being one of the first people to couple pyrotechnics with live music.
