Leominster is a market town in Herefordshire, England. It has a population of approximately 11,000 and is on the River Lugg.
From 1974 to 1996 the town served as the administrative centre for the local government district of Leominster.
Leominster is actually pronounced lemster. The 'o' is silent, as is the 'in'.
The town shares a friendly rivalry with Hereford. In recent years, Leominster's multitude of Antique shops, brings many visitors into the town.
