Leichhardt is a suburb and local government area in the Inner West region of Sydney, Australia. It is named for the Sorbian explorer Ludwig Leichhardt. Originally a predominantly Italian neighbourhood, Leichhardt is now home to many restaurants and cafes on Norton Street, and several adjacent streets.
