LEE Hsien Loong (Hanzi: 李显龙; born February 10 1952), is the third Prime Minister of Singapore as of August 12, 2004. He also serves as the Minister for Finance. Lee Hsien Loong is the eldest son of Singapore's first Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew and is married to Ho Ching who runs government-owned Temasek Holdings.

He studied mathematics in the University of Cambridge and graduated with a first-class degree, and attended the Kennedy School of Government in Harvard University to gain a Master's degree in public administration.

He served in the Singapore Armed Forces, rising quickly to the rank of brigadier general, prior to becoming a Member of Parliament in 1984 and subsequently Deputy Prime Minister in November 26 1990.
