Law & Order Trial by Jury
Law and Order: Trial by Jury is a spinoff of
Law & Order that focuses on the entire courtroom process, as opposed to particular topics of crime. It will be screen on the NBC network.
Unlike the other Law & Order series, Trial By Jury's point of view is detached from particular characters, and will include deliberation of the jury. Cases will be shown in a multi-episode arc and may allow for high-profile guest stars.
Jerry Orbach, from the original series, is due to be part of the new series, which begins in January 2005. Carey Lowell (also from the original series), Candice Bergen, and John Mahoney are also in talks to appear in the new drama.
