Lambayeque is a department in Peru. Area: 14,213 km2. Population: 920,795 (1993 census). The capital city is Chiclayo.

The department is divided in 3 provinces:

  2. Ferreñafe (Ferreñafe)
  3. Lambayeque (Lambayeque)
