Kirriemuir, Angus



         


Kirriemuir, sometimes called Kirrie, is a burgh in Angus, Scotland. It is a centre for hunting and shooting, but is best known as the birthplace of J. M. Barrie, whose house is now a museum, and also of Bon Scott from AC/DC. The town also boasts a museum of aviation and a camera obscura, donated by Barrie.
