Kirk Johnson (born June 29, 1972) is a professional boxer from North Preston, Nova Scotia, Canada.
In 1993 he decided to join the sport of boxing and had his first professional bout on the April, 24th 1993 against Andre Smiley. He fights in the Heavyweight division. He had his first title fight in 2002 when he faced John Ruiz for the WBA Heavyweight Title. In the tenth round Johnson was disqualified for low blows while losing on all of the judges scorecards.
His last memorable fight was on December, 6th 2003 when he faced the ukrainian contender Vitali Klitschko in New York´s Madison Square Garden. He lost the bout in the second round via a technical knockout.
