King of Asia

King of Asia was the title that Alexander the Great took after the Battle of Gaugamela in 331 BC. It passed on to his heirs, but none of them held any actual power, either in Asia or any other part of his empire; the actual power fell to the numerous regents or the rebellious satraps. With the extinction of his dynasty and the rise of the Diadochi, the title fell out of use.
