Key Largo (island)

Key Largo is an island off of Florida. It is part of the Florida Keys archipelago and the largest of its islands. Key Largo is a popular tourist destination and calls itself the "Diving Capital of the World". Tourists enjoy Key Largo's scuba diving, sports-fishing, and beaches. Key Largo’s proximity to the Everglades also makes it a premier destination for kayakers and ecotourists.

Key Largo, Florida is a city on this island.

Key Largo is sandwiched between the wilderness of the Everglades National Park to the west and the fish-covered coral formations of North America’s only living coral barrier reef to the east.

And a few venture to Jules' Undersea Lodge - a hotel completely immersed underwater. Visitors scuba-dive 20 feet to reach the habitat, which started out as a marine research facility. Each room has a round 42-inch window where visitors can see angelfish, parrotfish, barracuda, and other forms of aquatic life swim by.
