Katrineholm is a Municipality in Södermanland County, in central Sweden. The municipality covers an area of 1018.5 km². Of the total population of 32370, 15895 are male, and 16475 are female. The population density of the community is 32 inhabitants per km².
Prime Minister Göran Persson was formerly head of the municipal government in Katrineholm.
