Television show

As a television show, K Street was inspired by the location. The plot revolved around lobbyists, some played by political figures such as James Carville and Mary Matalin; it also featured cameos from numerous politicians. The show was quite popular in the Washington, DC area, but failed to find a broader audience.

It was produced by famous actor George Clooney, whose appearance in DC caused considerable stir, with frequent mentions in the light-news "Style" section of the Washington Post.
