Jonathan Ross (b. November 17, 1960, Leytonstone, UK) is a British television presenter and film critic.
Ross first came to public notice in the late 1980s as the presenter of The Last Resort with Jonathan Ross, a chat show owing somewhat of a debt to the style of David Letterman. He is currently the host of a chat show Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, and of the BBC's cinema review programme Film 2004. He also hosts a Saturday morning show on BBC Radio 2. He is also a regular panellist on the sports quiz They Think It's All Over, and has had a role in the Spice Girls' film, Spiceworld.
His nickname is "Wossy" because he has a speech impediment known as rhotacism causing him to pronounce 'r's as 'w's.
He is the brother of Paul Ross. Jonathan married author Jane Goldman in 1988, and they have three children; Betty, Harvey and Honey.
