Johnny Dankworth (born 1927) is a noted British jazz musician and composer.
Dankworth is probably best known for his professional partnership with his wife, Cleo Laine. His works include the theme for the 1960s action series, "The Avengers", which starred Patrick Macnee and Honor Blackman and later Diana Rigg.
