John Dudley, 3rd Lord Dudley, the son of Edward Dudley, 2nd Lord Dudley by Cecily Willoughby was born about 1495 in Denbighshire, Wales at Dudley Castle, Worcestershire, but later in life acquired a further city residence at Tothill Street in Westminster.
He wed Cecily, the daughter of Thomas Grey, 1553-09-18, and was buried at St. Margaret's in Westminster.

He died a Baron on the 31st of January, 1531/32, and was wed in 1480 to Cecily Willoughby, whom had issue, being: Eleanor, Margaret, Jane (Joan), Catherine, Joyce, Dorothy, Elizabeth, Constancia, Alice and John (3rd Lord Dudley), with Edward, Thomas, William, Arthur, Geoffrey, and George, being his brothers.
Baron EDWARD SUTTON, Lord Dudley, K.G. (Knight of the Garter), in 1522 rented a house in Tothill Street, Westminster, and presumably resided there. He died aged about seventy-two on 31 Jan 1531/2. (Age twenty-six when found to be cousin and co-heir of Edward Tiptoft, Earl of Worcester.) Edward Dudley (SUTTON) ([BARON DUDLEY]) was the 7th and last to bear the title BARON.
