John Shephard Reed is the Chairman of the New York Stock Exchange. He was previously Chairman and CEO of Citicorp, Citibank, and post-merger, Citigroup.
He was born in 1939 in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Argentina and Brazil. He earned his undergraduate degree from Washington & Jefferson College and his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
