John Rankine is the pen name of Douglas Rankine Mason (1918 - ), a British (or British based) science fiction author.
Books in the "Space Corporation" series include Binary Z (1969, published by Dobson Books and again the following year by The Science Fiction Book Club). Books in the "Dag Fletcher" series include Intestellar Two-Five (1966 Dobson Books, and again in 1968 by Corgi Books).
