Joe Kinnear, also called BFJ (Big Fat Joe) by rival fans, is a football manager, currently at Nottingham Forest.
Joe Kinnear has managed several other football clubs, including Luton Town, where in 2002 he began a rivalry with Plymouth Argyle. This was resultant of Argyle being the better placed team in the challenge for the Division Three title. Kinnear referred to Plymouth as a place where people go to die and said that Luton would win the title. This did not turn out to be the case and Argyle were the eventual champions by a five point margin.
In the summer of 2003, after guiding Luton to a surprisingly high 9th place in Division Two (Once again a place below Argyle), Kinnear was sacked by a mystery consortium which had taken control of the club.
