Jeffrey Miller

Jeffery Miller was a student at Kent State University when he was shot by Ohio National Guardsmen while protesting the Vietnam war on May 4, 1970. The action of the Guardsmen was caught by camera, and is seen by some as a major turning point of the Vietnam war.

A memorial has recently been erected at his former high school in Plainview-Bethpage, Long Island.
