Jefferson Public Radio

Jefferson Public Radio is a regional public radio broadcasting service serving a 60,000-square-mile mostly rural area of Southern Oregon and Northern California. As of 2004, it reaches over 700,000 potential listeners via the largest translator network in public radio. The service is headquartered on the Southern Oregon University campus in Ashland and named after the once-proposed State of Jefferson, an area which roughly corresponds to the parts of the two states it serves.
