Jack Yellen



         


Jack Yellen (July 6, 1892 - April 17, 1991) was a Polish born American lyricist.

Yellen's family immigrated to the United States when he was five. He attended the University of Michigan and on graduating became a reporter on the Buffalo Courier. He is best remembered for his collaboration with composer Milton Ager. He and Ager entered the music publishing business as part owners of the Ager-Yellen-Bernstein Music Company.

He died in Concord, New York.
