International Third Position was a group formed by Nick Griffin as a continuation of the Political Soldier movement. With a very small membership the ITP preached a form of "left-wing" fascism that attacked capitalism and looked to the Strasser brothers for inspiration. Apart from organising a few public meetings for David Irving the group had minimal impact and was gone by the early 1990s.
International Third Position is also the name of a neo-fascist ideology (after which the British ITP was named) which tries to appeal to youth attracted to the left by use of anti-capitalist rhetoric. This includes such phenomena as National Bolshevism, National Anarchism and Strasserism, all of which look to elements of socialism within a fascist framework.
