Though not announced yet, there has been speculation about who will be nominated for 2005. U2 is an almost guaranteed nominee, while other possibilities include Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Rush, Def Leppard, Pat Benatar, Kiss, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Van Halen, Alice Cooper, Barry White, Sex Pistols, and, oddly enough, hip-hop DJ Grandmaster Flash.
