Ian Macfarlane (Australian politician)

Ian Elgin Macfarlane (born 5 April 1955), Australian politician, has been a Liberal Party of Australia member of the Australian House of Representatives since October 1998, representing the Division of Groom, Queensland. He was born in Kingaroy, Queensland, and was a farmer and president of the Queensland Graingrowers Association before entering politics.

Macfarlane was Minister for Small Business 1901 and has been Minister for Industry, Tourism and Resources since November 2001.

Macfarlane should not be confused with the Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia, Ian Macfarlane.
