Hue and cry

Hue and Cry are a pop duo comprising the brothers Pat Kane (vocals) and Greg Kane (keyboards), both born in Coatbridge, Scotland. The duo first entered the UK charts with the upbeat dance-soul single "Labour of Love" (1987). It was followed by the other top 40 singles "Looking for Linda" and "Violently" (both 1988). The band have to date released ten albums (selling 2 million copies worldwide) though none have managed the commercial or critical success of the first two: Seduced and Abandoned (1987) and Remote (1988).
