Household Troops

The Household Division is an organisation of the British Army consisting of the following units:

• The Household Cavalry: the Life Guards and the Blues and Royals
• The Foot Guards regiments : the Grenadier Guards, Coldstream Guards, Scots Guards, Irish Guards and Welsh Guards

Household Troops

The King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery is not technically part of the Household Division, though it has similar ceremonial duties and comes under the command of the Major General Commanding the Household Division. Rather, the Household Division and the King's Troop are collectively referred to as the Household Troops. Three Canadian regiments are also classed as Household Troops; the Governor General's Horse Guards, Governor General's Foot Guards and Canadian Grenadier Guards.
