Home Alone is a 1990 film that starred Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister, an eight year-old who is mistakenly left behind when his family flies to France for Christmas.
The film made Macaulay Culkin famous. The film also features Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern as the "Wet Bandits," a bumbling pair of burglars who try to rob the McCallister home, believing it to be an easy mark with the family absent. The duo, unfortunately for themselves, run into numerous booby traps set by Kevin throughout the house.
Sequels are Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992), Home Alone 3 and Home Alone 4; however, Culkin only appeared in Home Alone 2.
A scene where Kevin watches a gangster movie Angels With Filthy Souls was actually made a special footage for that. Johnny was played by Ralph Foody and Snakes was played by Michael Guido. In that film Snakes was arguing about the money and Johnny gave him 10 seconds to get out before he riddles him with bullets. After saying "1..2..10!" Johnny started blowing Snakes with numerous gunshots. In Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, there was a sequel where Kevin watches the second movie with the same character. The movie was called Angels With Even Filthier Souls.
