Henry Wise (1653 - 1738) was an English gardener and landscape architect apprenticed to George London at Brompton Nursery. The two later worked as partners on Hampton Court, Chelsea Hospital, Longleat, Chatsworth, Melbourne Hall and Castle Howard, drawing inspiration from contemporaries in France and the Netherlands.

Queen Anne of Great Britain and King George I both appointed him to the post of gardening
