Henderson Island is an uninhabited coral island in the south Pacific Ocean, annexed to the Pitcairn Islands colony in 1902. It has an area of twelve square miles and is 120 miles northeast of Pitcairn at 24°22' S, 128°16' W. It has been designated a World Heritage Reserve by the United Nations.
