Helicon is the name of a mountain in Boeotia. Two famous fountains sacred to the Muses in Greek mythology were located here: the Aganippe and the Hippocrene.
Helicon, in Isaac Asimov's Foundation novels, is also the name of the home planet of Hari Seldon, discoverer and developer of psychohistory. See Helicon (planet).
