Heinrich von Brentano di Tremezzo (born June 6, 1904 in Offenbach, d. November 14 1964 in Darmstadt) was a German politician (CDU) and lawyer. He was one of the founders of the CDU in Hesse and was a member of the German parliament from 1949. 1955-1961 he was Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs. He was an important figure in the foundation of the European Economic Community (EEC).
