Harenkarspel (population: 15,376) is a municipality in the north-western Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. The municipality covers an area of 54.84 km² (of which 9.30 km² water).
The municipality of Harenkarspel consists of the following towns, villages and townships: Dirkshorn, Eenigenburg, Groenveld, Kalverdijk, Kerkbuurt, Krabbendam, 't Rijpje, Schoorldam (partially in the municipality of Bergen), Sint Maarten, Stroet, Tuitjenhorn, Valkkoog, Waarland, Warmenhuizen.
