Haberfield

Location

Haberfield is a suburb in the inner-west of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is approximately 7 kilometres west of Sydney's central business district, and borders Sydney Harbour.

Surrounding suburbs

To the north of Haberfield is Five Dock, to the east is Leichardt, to the south is Summer Hill, and to the west is Ashfield.

Characteristics

Haberfield was christened "the garden suburb" many years ago, and still has well-kept parks, and many fine federation-era houses with immaculate gardens. Haberfield also has a strong italian influence, which is most evident in the local shops along Ramsay Street.
