Gyeongbokgung is a palace located in Seoul, South Korea. It is the main palace of the Joseon Dynasty and one of the "Five Grand Palaces" built by the Joseon Dynasty.
The Gyeongbok Palace was also the headquarters for the Governor-General of Korea until 1945 (see Government House).
