The city of Gusev (Гусев) in Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia (formerly Gumbinnen in East Prussia) has about 20,000 inhabitants. It is situated close to the border with Lithuania, east of Chernyakhovsk. A meteor crater, Gusev Crater, is located near the city.
Gusev is also the name of a crater on Mars, the landing site of the MER-A rover.
