Green Wing is a British television comedy series produced by Talkback Productions. It first aired on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom on September 3, 2004. As of 2004, a single series of 9 hour-long episodes have been produced. It is a hybrid of sketch comedy and sitcom; though each episode has a plot, a setting and recurring cast of characters, scenes usually take place as a series of sketches only introduced by a storyline.
