Gordon, New South Wales
Gordon is a suburb on the north shore of Sydney, Australia, located about 15 kilometers from the Sydney central business district and is located on a major transport artery, the Pacific Highway and the intersection of Ryde and Mona Vale Roads which form an internal link between the northern beaches, Homebush Bay and the St. George District and Sutherland Shire.
It is the seat of the Ku-ring-gai local council area which includes Lindfield, Killara, Pymble, Turramurra and St Ives. Gordon is located on the North Shore Line of CityRail and has frequent commuter services. It has a shopping centre with many shops and restaurants and is the childhood home of the politician Clover Moore and model, Elle Macpherson.
