Georgia State University (GSU) is an urban research university in the heart of downtown Atlanta, Georgia, USA. It serves over 28,000 students, and is one of Georgia's four research universities. The university has one of most highly-rated business schools in the country with its part time MBA program being noted as the best in the country. The university is also ranked in various other fields such as philosophy, law, urban policy studies, and respiratory therapy. The university is also known for its programs in urban geography, community psychology and sociology, music, nursing, and physical therapy. The students operate radio station WRAS-FM (Album 88), and publish Georgia State Magazine, and weekly newspaper The Signal.
