GE Transportation Systems



         


GE Transportation Systems is the division of the General Electric corporation producing railroad locomotives and electrical and propulsion equipment for transit cars.

It is based in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Products include Diesel locomotives for the passenger and freight markets, railway car electrical systems, propulsion controllers, propulsion units, converters, and electical equipment. It is also the parent division of GE Aircraft Engines, one of the world's top jet engine manufacturers.
