Gates Of The Arctic National Park and Preserve



         


A national park since 1980, Gates of the Arctic National Park is one of several large Alaskan national parks. Gates park lies just north of and is entirely within the Arctic Circle. The Park consits primarily of portions of the Brooks Range, it covers 9,752,000 acres (39,460 km²).
