Fuji Television

Fuji Television (フジ テレビジョン) is a Japanese television network based in Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan.

The network started to broadcast on March 1st 1959 and has a network of exchanging news with local stations with the name of FNN (Fuji News Network).

This channel broadcasts or has broadcasted the Japanese versions (i.e. the original productions in nearly all of the programs mentioned below) of the children's series:

• Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1980)
• Akane-chan (1968)
• Astro Boy - the first episodic anime on Japanese television.
• Digimon (1999-2003) - the Fuji TV building itself appeared in a story arc of the first season.
• Dolphin Prince (1965) - the first color anime TV series.
• Dragon Ball (1986-1989)
• Dragon Ball Z (1989-1996)
• Dragon Ball GT (1996-1997)
• Maison Ikkoku
• Marmalade Boy
• Maruko
• One Piece
• Ranma 1/2
• Rurouni Kenshin
• Speed Racer
• Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends - an export from Britain.
• Yu Yu Hakusho

In addition, the network's flagship comic series, Sazae-san, has been on the air since 1969.
